How’s your summer?

Mine is busy. Sometimes I feel like this photo—living in a fog where I can’t see the next step ahead. But I’m also looking forward to the fog lifting and seeing what surprises are on the other side of the bridge.

In the spirit of a summer break, I’m taking a few weeks off from regular posts to the blog. One reason is to focus on the manuscript of Meek and Mild, which is due to the publisher in a few weeks (releases in February). Another reason is to gear up for a couple of releases in September. And another reason is to enjoy the summer before it’s gone.

Here’s the skinny on the fall.

September 1. Wonderful Lonesome releases, the first of a new historical Amish series called Amish Turns of Time.

Also on September 1, Westward Christmas Brides releases. This is a collection of nine Christmas novellas, and one of them is Snow Song by yours truly.

When I return to blogging. I’ll have more to say about all these stories. Until then, chase some joy in your summer!
